A Historic Community Venue for Gatherings That Matter
Located in the heart of Georgetown, the historic VFW Hall offers a welcoming, flexible setting for celebrations, meetings, fundraisers, community events, and private gatherings. With the character and tradition of a Veteran organization combined with the practical amenities needed for today’s events, the Hall provides a comfortable and professional space for groups and celebrations of all kinds.

The Hall can accommodate up to 100 people in a formal seated arrangement, making it an ideal choice for both intimate gatherings and larger community functions. The historic Hall lis ocated on Main Street with three guest lodges and a VFW RV Park and Campground less than a mile away.
FACILITY AMENITIES: The Hall provides the essential amenities to support a wide range of events, including restrooms, a large kitchen, food warmer station, commercial dishwasher, large refrigerator, ice machine, and mini bar.
CANTEEN & MINI BAR: The Canteen and Mini Bar are available upon request and are staffed and managed by the VFW.
SEATING & EVENT CAPACITY: The Hall can accommodate up to 100 guests in a formal seated arrangement, with flexibility to configure the space to meet the needs of your event.
A COMMUNITY FACILITY: Renting the VFW Hall helps support the continued operation of a local Veterans organization and the programs, services, and community activities provided by the VFW.
Historic “Speakeasy Canteen Rental
The Historic Gem not to be Missed!
Secreatly located in the basement of the Historica Hall is Georgetown’s only “Speakeasy” Canteen, bar. It includes all of the classic amenities including a bar, tables, pool table, two dart boards, a wide array of gaming resources including Poker Tables, multiple TV screens and a small stage area used regularly for Open Mic Nights. Meeting Agendas can be projected and catering services are available.
The Canteen has the unique ability to adopt a variety of personalities to meet a wide array of special events and personal interests.
The Canteen can accommodate up to 45 people seated making it a unique setting for intimate gatherings and private parties! The historic Canteen may be rented in addition to the Hall providing an expansive space for special events.
Special Event Center
RV and Tent Campground
Historic Georgetown has a 10 Acre Special Event Center with a large barn like Stage, Dance floor, Bar, Mini Kitchen, Large Tented Dining areas, Kid Zone with a Waterslide & Obstacle Course, Badminton, Cornhole and a Full Campground for Tent and RV Camping.
The Event Center is the host for several community events incluiding a Memorial Day Celebration featuring 10 Bands on two Stages. Other recent events include a BBQ Cook Off, Renaissance Festival, Cornhole Tournaments, Farmers Market, Movie Nights, Weddings, Birthdays, Fundraising events, Celebration of Life with a full military honor guard.
The Park is equipped year-round to host your next special event!
The Park and Event Center can accommodate up to 1500 people making it a unique setting for large events and grand parties! The Park is less than 1 mile from historic Georgetown, the Nature Center, and all of the treasures of the El Dorado National Forest!
