Located in the heart of Georgetown, the historic VFW Hall offers a welcoming, flexible setting for celebrations, meetings, fundraisers, community events, and private gatherings. With the character and tradition of a long-standing Veterans organization combined with the practical amenities needed for today’s events, the Hall provides a comfortable and professional space for groups of all kinds. The Hall can accommodate up to 100 people in a formal seated arrangement, making it an ideal choice for both intimate gatherings and larger community functions.
The Hall provides the essential amenities to support a wide range of events, including restrooms, a kitchen, food warmer station, large refrigerator, ice machine, and mini bar.
The kitchen and food service areas provide convenient preparation, storage, warming, and serving capabilities for catered meals, private functions, and community events.
The Canteen and Mini Bar are available upon request and are staffed and managed by the VFW. Due to the VFW's liquor license requirements, outside alcoholic beverages may not be sold at the Hall. All alcohol service must be managed in accordance with VFW policies and applicable licensing requirements.
The Hall can accommodate up to 100 guests in a formal seated arrangement, with flexibility to configure the space to meet the needs of your event.
Use of the VFW Hall is a privilege. Renters are responsible for returning the facility in the condition in which it was received. This includes removing or bagging trash and placing it in the dumpsters behind the Hall, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping counters and surfaces, and cleaning all dishes, pots, and pans. The facility is subject to inspection following the rental.
A $150 Reservation Security and Cleaning Deposit is required to reserve the Hall. The deposit is non-refundable when less than 10 days' notice of cancellation is provided.
When all rental requirements have been satisfied, the full deposit will be refunded following inspection and sign-off of the facility and return of any keys provided.
